Urbanism Victory at the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal

We obtained a major victory in a complex urban-planning dispute. After the first favorable ruling from the Sibiu Tribunal, the Alba Iulia Court of Appeal dismissed the public authorities' appeal as unfounded.

The final ruling confirmed that, in the case of privately funded PUZ urban plans endorsed without changes by the Ministry of Culture, the mayor cannot alter urban parameters and must submit the plan to the local council as approved.

After more than two and a half years of proceedings, this outcome sanctioned an unlawful administrative practice and restored the investor's ability to move forward with the project.
