The Bucharest Tribunal admitted our claim and ordered the annulment of a lifetime maintenance contract concluded by a 92-year-old person regarding a centrally located property.
The contract had been signed in a context of pronounced vulnerability, and the beneficiary passed away shortly after signature, without the maintenance obligations being genuinely performed.
The court retained the speculative nature of the agreement and sanctioned the exploitation of vulnerability for patrimonial gain. The ruling is currently subject to appeal.
