At the 14th National Commercial Law Conference, attorney-at-law, PhD Dan-Adrian Cărămidariu delivered the presentation Reinventing a Model: Transparency in the Age of Digital Platforms and Smart Contracts.

The intervention examined contractual transparency in digital consumer contracts, arguing that formal disclosure alone is no longer sufficient in platform-based environments.

It also addressed the need to adapt classical legal tools to algorithm-assisted contracting and to strengthen effective control over abusive clauses in digital markets.
