Participation in the Conference of New Legal Ideas – 2025 Edition

Attorney-at-law, PhD Maximilian-Andrei Druță, member of the CDB Legal team, participated in the Conference of New Legal Ideas - 2025 Edition, held on 14 November 2025 in the Aula Magna of the West University of Timișoara. The event, organized by the Faculty of Law of the West University of Timișoara, brought together academics, researchers and practitioners dedicated to exploring innovative directions in legal thought, in a format where each presentation is followed by a dedicated respondent for critical dialogue.

Within Session II, attorney-at-law, PhD Maximilian-Andrei Druță appeared as co-speaker alongside Associate Professor PhD Florin I. Mangu, who delivered the presentation "How Unforeseeable is Force Majeure?". His intervention, "Controversies Regarding the Foreseeability Standard of Force Majeure. The Ways of Destiny are (Un)Known", examined the role of foreseeability in defining force majeure under civil law and the implications this standard generates in assessing legal liability.

Participation in this conference reflects a constant commitment to theoretical debate and critical reflection on fundamental legal institutions, while strengthening the academic dialogue dedicated to doctrinal developments in civil law.
